  18. The power of prayer is awesome to experience. It envelopes you and lifts you – like a constant hug. When we feel so utterly helpless – these prayers create hope and remind us that God is in control. I don’t know how people get through tragic situations without having the Lord on their side. Know that Luke, Carson, and your family are being lifted up to our Lord through prayer.

  30. Sometimes God lets it happen if it has the great potential of brining Glory to Him and to draw us closer to Him. You can consider it an honor that He trusted you Ben and Linsey, Mark and Martha, Jeff and Shea, to suffer this trauma to accomplish His mighty work of power, love and mercy that touched all of us. God is obviously not through with you, He wants to do a mighty work through you. His ways and purposes are sooo much higher than ours.
I just want to give honor and praise to Him for His display of power and grace in your behalf. In your cry to God for help in this time, my you sense a closeness to Him like you have never had before. We will continue to pray for complete healing for both boys and strength for the family.

  42. We aren’t sure if you got our message yesterday. Blogging is new for me and not sure if I did it right. We, Mt. Crawford Baseball, want to let you know that we are thinking about Luke, Carson and their families. We know it has been a long and stressful few days and we are so thankful that the boys seem to be improving with each day. It was a miracle that Carson was not injured more than he was and it is a miracle that Luke is doing as well as he is. God truly has been in control this week.

We recognized the catcher stance as being taken at Mt. Crawford! what great memories! and we feel optimistic that there will be many more!!!

Please let us know if there is anything that you and your families need. We know that you have so many friends but we want to offer our help to you as well.

We will all continue to pray for you all.
