Saturday Evening

Just a quick praise report/note to let you know what is going on.  Luke has been resting well this afternoon-evening.  We are so thankful for this.  Doctors are doing a wonderful job, as much as they can, to keep him sedated and stable, to give his body time to rest and heal.  We give thanks to our awesome and powerful Lord and Savior for giving them wisdom and knowledge to care for Luke.  They want to keep him completely calm and still in the next days as he gets ready for surgery.

Ben and Lindsey will try to get a couple hours of rest tonight, and Grandma Martha will be sitting with Luke.  As many of you know Grandmas are awesome spiritual warriors so he will be in great hands.   Grandpa Glen and Grandma Betty are doing an unbelievable job of juggling being with Luke, Ben and Lindsey – but also being there with Andrew and Maleah.  Ben and Lindsey are very commited to making sure Andrew and Maleah our stable through this time as well, and Glen & Betty have totally went above and beyond!  Grandpa Mark took Sheila back to the airport as her family needs her also. (She has been a solid rock, over at the hospital the last few days, and on little to no sleep) Mark has been a great prayer warrior and awesome at getting people back and forth, to and from, whatever is needed.  We thank God for great parents and wonderful examples.

  1. Martha,
I just want to say that Luke is in great hands with you this evening. I pray for you and this special time that you will be spending with this precious grandchild. You are such a strong & loving person and I’m sure he will feel that love from you just being there beside him.I pray that the doctors and nurses will be guided by the hand of God to perform the necessary surgeries in the days to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you constantly. We love you and lift you up to the Lord for comfort at this time.

I continue to pray for God’s healing hand upon Luke and that he would sustain you each and give you comfort, peace and strength to make it through each day. Hold on to Jesus. 4. This post is a tremendous tstimony of who you are as a family. Asking the Father to continue bringing you closer to each other, binding your hearts. You have the blessing of being related by blood and by THE BLOOD. Praying that grandma Martha had a peaceful night. Lifting each of you to the Father this morning.
