  5. Ben and Lindsey,
I don’t know if you remember me or not but I babysat your children along with the Mullets one evening a few months back. Beka told me all that has been going on and I wanted to let you know that your family has been in my thoughts and prayers everyday. God is great and after reading all of the entries I can tell God is working hard to heal Luke! If I was closer I would help you all out with care for Maleah and Andrew. Stay positive and know that there are so many people praying for you all…great things are going to happen! Please know that your family will continue to be in my prayers!

  7. I was just praying for Luke, you all and wisdom and accuracy for the medical team as I was working in the kitchen. When I came to check my email at 10:15 I read that plans had changed and the halo procedure had begun. How awesome is God…..that he answers prayers before they are uttered. Blessings to ALL of you.

  9. Praying for wisdom for the Doctors and Nurses that are caring for Luke today. Praying for peace for the family. Also praying that the procedure would work even better than they hoped.

Kaelin wanted me to tell you that she’s praying for Luke and Carson every day (multiple times a day). Her prayer is simple, but filled with faith. “Jesus, help Luke and Carson feel all better, so that they can play again.”

    Love and prayers,
    Randy, Jenn, Kaelin and Reece

  11. I awoke several times in the night and couldn’t fall back to sleep (too much coffee I think), so I spent the time praying for Luke & all of you. I am praying that this procedure will be successful and for Luke’s full recovery. My parents in Fairfax are also praying for Luke.

  15. I am praying for Luke and the Dr’s around him. I am praying for all the family members to be strong. I do not know this family and just heard about them through my friend Heather Wilharm. This site is such an inspiration and I want to be a part of the prayer chain.

  17. Dearest Luke and family,
I am a good friend of Esther Byler and am privledged to be able to pray for you and stand in the gap as the Lord works wonders in His name.
You are in my prayers and I bleieve… Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever Heb.13:8 and that …you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15. Because of this, we can fully have Faith that He was wounded for our trangressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
Hold tightly to the Word it is what the Lord has given us to know His character and Love and Mercy for his children. Claim the VICTORY as you wait for God to move and complete His will within His child Luke. God Bless and Keep you in his care.

  19. You and your healing are all in our prayers all day, everyday. We believe that the Lord will continue to hold you all in his protective hands and bring complete healing to you all, a healing that only he can provide. The Lord is not only doing work in Luke’s life, but in the lives of everyone that is following this blog, everyone who has been touched and is praying for you all during this time. It is evident that the Lord is using Luke to reach the farthest ends of the earth.

We look forward to hearing of all the great and awesome miracles and blessing the Lord is bestowing upon your family. Blessings!

  21. We continue to pray for you…for Luke, for Ben and Lindsey, for Luke’s brother and sister, the doctors and others who are there to support you.
We know God has a wonderful, special plan and pray that His peace and grace will be felt, especially when circumstances don’t seem to warrant that.
    Love,
    Steve and Judy
