Lukeyoder's Blog

Just another WordPress.com weblog

Pressing On

Luke had another good night. The doctors will be tightening Luke’s halo this morning (standard procedure after 24 hours). Then, starting tomorrow, they will gradually decrease the sedatives so that Luke will start to wake up. This process is slow and steady, so he may not wake up right away (could even take a day or so) but everyone is so anxious to see his eyes and for him to be more lively (just not “Luke lively!”). Once again, thank you for your steadfast prayers and support.

Pray for Ben as he has a bit of a cold and also pray that Lindsey’s health holds up through all of this stress.

Kelby, Ella and I are flying home to FL today. We are SOOOOO bummed to leave Luke and the family and we really wanted to be here when Luke opens his sweet brown eyes – but no matter the distance between us, our love and prayers hold strong.

  1. Thanks for the update. PRAISE GOD for what He is doing. I am still praying for a miracle of encouragement. Am praying for your health also, Ben and Lindsey. When this is all over and Luke is all whole again you will look back and wonder how we got through this, you will know then “that is when God carried you!” We love you and we will continue to pray without ceasing.
