Answered Prayer

Just wanted to let everyone know that this morning in Speech therapy Luke found his voice! He has been all smiles today, and I cannot express the joy that I felt in that moment. God is good! Everyone at KCRC is pumped too…his speech therapist said she wanted to cry, because she has been wanting him to talk so badly. His smile is contagious and they all love him here.
Luke still whispers a lot, because his voice is still weak, but now we know that his vocal chords are ok and no testing needs to be done. Thank you for your prayers.

  11. Every time I read one more of these daily miracles, I picture God up in Heaven, looking down with such joy as He brings full healing back to Luke. What appears to be sunlight streaming down is actually the radiance of His smile.

Thank you, Lord. You are so good and mighty.

  12. Thank you! Jesus – what a precious miracle! I remember how precious the first words were that my Abby was able to say – she wasn’t talking at age 2 and went thru therapy for several years – I had taken speech for granted until I saw how hard she had to work to form a word! God is good!

  13. Praise God!!! What a tremendous joy-I am surprised his therapist didn’t cry; I know I did when I just read that he has his voice again:) Then again, I’m nearly in tears every time I read of Luke’s progress and how awesome our God truly is.
Continue to be strong in the Lord as his parents; all the hard work and now you can again hear your little Luke say ‘I love you!’
I’m going now to share this exciting news with our children…

  31. Once again God comes through for Luke! All I can think of is that praise song, “I stand in awe, in awe of You. To God to Whom all praise is due; I stand in awe of You.”

Luke~ I pray you grow to be a mighty man of God who uses your voice to tells others about His goodness to you. He has been so very, very good and merciful to you and your family. I know things have been hard, but when I hear good news from you all I can do is say, “Thank you Jesus!” Lindsey~ I admire you as a mother! I pray for you that God will continue to give you strength, hope and peace. You are just who and what that little boy needs to nourish his spirit and keep him going. God knew he’d need a mom like you. What a blessing you are!

But just reading this has put into perspective for me the joy you are feeling knowing that Luke will be able to laugh, talk, argue, giggle etc!!!!!
