Getting Ready To Go Home!

Getting Ready To Go Home!

Together again!
Together again!

There are no words to explain how it feels to have Luke home and to be all together again! Please continue to pray for the complete healing of Luke. He’s progressing really well and his head and eyes continue to recover. He still needs all of our prayers. Pray that his eyes will be completely restored and that his brain will continue to heal. Pray that the brain scan the end of this month will show God’s healing power. We are so thankful how near God has been to our family the past six weeks and we look forward to seeing God’s power the next six weeks.

I Keep praying for Luke and all I can think when I see him standing, smiling and being at home is that Luke is a modern day miracle. God is alive and working miracles today all around us. Thank you Ben and Lindsey for sharing your journey as it has made me a new person in Christ.

  11. A children’s praise song comes to my mind: “My God is so big, so great and so mighty, there’s nothing my God cannot do (2x), The mountains are His, the rivers are His, the stars are his handiwork too, My God is so big, so great and so mighty, there’s nothing my God cannot do, FOR YOU! Luke is his handiwork too and we see Him busy sewing and mending Luke’s body!

  18. I had tears in my eyes when I read that Luke was so happy he could just cry! What a miracle this story has been….I know it’s not done yet but still a miracle. I was listening to a discussion about a week ago about how “we don’t see miracles in this country”! This would certainly fit into the “big miracle” category. God is faithful and is with us even if we don’t understand. Ben & Lindsay, you have been towers of strength for your family and I know that was only possible through the Lord’s strength and the strengh of your families. You may never know how many people were following this “story” on the blog that don’t know you and how their lives have been changed because of it. Thank you for being faithful in the hard times. We will keep praying….

  26. That is some really awesome pictures after realizing where Luke was at 6 weeks ago. We are still lifting you guys up in prayer every day. We are praying for luke’s full recovery, Ben and Lindsey’s wisdom and strength to deal with the everyday situations that come up, and for God to be glorified and kingdom enlarged. Much blessing to yall. My faith has been strengthened watching God work in your lives. One note: For faster recovery — Give Luke a CLEMSON ball instead of a Virginia Ball.

  30. Luke and family,

You have been in the prayers of my weekly Bible Study group. I absolutely love the picture of you standing ready to go home! It brought back memories of our son preparing to do the same – I bet you were pacing also! 🙂

We serve an awesome God, a God of miracles! Some people don’t witness a miracle in their lifetime. For everyone who has followed this Blog, we have witnessed a HUGE MIRACLE! I know God has big plans for you.

I continue to pray for endurance for you all as the marathon continues!

Hugs to the entire Yoder family!
