Lukeyoder's Blog

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT!  We’ve said it before numerous times but it can’t be overstated!  The outpouring of support has been humbling and awesome.  We have felt a sincere love from our community, our family, our Brothers and Sisters in Christ…we have experienced God’s hands and feet.  It’s hard to go places and not see people who are truly concerned for us.  Luke has been getting stronger and wanting to go more places.  He enjoys getting out, but it also can be very tiring for him.  The halo seems to draw a lot of attention, which Luke handles very well. Friday is when he has an MRI to see if the ligament at the base of his skull has healed, please keep this in your prayers.  If the ligament has healed, the halo can come off!  Also please continue to pray for his vision to improve. You all have played a large part in Luke’s recovery, so we will try and keep you updated with prayer request, and praise reports.  Thanks for caring!!!

  5. We continue to pray on Luke’s behalf. I feel so close to him because of this that I’m afraid I would scare him if I saw him. I am a stranger to him, but with all the prayers and stuff going on… it just has brought it to such a personal level.

I am expecting to hear good news on friday and can’t wait to read it already. He has been so very much the miracle boy. God bless him and his zest for caring , love , and compassion, that he shows. You have raised him well. God bless you all.

  7. Words from another song I was singing over you yesterday, it brought tears to my eyes…”Though the world sees and soon forgets, we will not forget who You are and what You’ve done for us…” From “Where You Go I Go.” Powerful declaration. We will NOT forget. Every time we see Luke’s smiling face or hear his name, our hearts are FULL of gratitude to our BIG, BIG God!
