Update

Sorry for the delay with an update, we have been busy.  First of all, we had a wonderful night of worship on Saturday night.   Thank you to Darrel and Heather Baker and all who participated on the worship team.   It was an awesome time of praising God and celebrating Luke’s life!

Well, Luke is back in school for half days.  He started on Monday and is really doing well.  He is adjusting well to the new schedule and likes how well he can see with his new glasses.  His teacher says he is keeping up academically with the class and is working hard.   After school I make him lay down for a rest, otherwise he has a good amount of energy.  DSCN0826_5862nd grade  He had a very warm, excited welcome from his classmates…Luke missed them all a lot!  DSCN0837_5972nd grade bible

  1. PRAISE BE TO OUR GREAT GOD!!!
We are SO excited and happy for your progress and thank God daily for how far you’ve come. It’s just amazing that you’re back in school; our children are beyond thrilled that you are attending!! I realize you don’t know them, but they have been praying faithfully and they are very thrilled to see prayers answered right before their eyes! GOD is so good…

  3. Wow, there is nothing like Luke’s SMILE! It is PRICELESS! Everyone who met him last Saturday commented on what a special little boy he is. This you already knew, the rest of us are just getting to know him! We are so happy to hear that he had a good week at school. We will continue to pray for peace in your hearts and minds and for strength and balance in all things!

  4. I know they were so excited to see him too! What a blessing! I can’t wait to spend some time with him again in October when I sub in his class….God really is using Luke to tell his story…what a great witness to the rest of us. Glad the concert went so well, we were out of town but we were thinking and praying for everyone!

  9. Kaylee loved her “Luke” cookies! She is sooo excited to have him back in class and talks about him everyday after school. What a witness he is to his fellow classmates. We will continue to pray for endurance and strength.
